Hi All, I saw what I think is Trac Tractor, definitely IHC and it has what looks to as the same engine in my '38 F-20. What are the manufature dates of these crawlers? Iam guessing it is a T-20. It is probably in the 30's based on styling, has hood sides and louvers pretty complete. Thanks for any info

Thanks guys, For the information, 7000lbs? Heavy little son of a gun. Since the head is different, what about finding a manifold? The one on this machine is pretty well corroded, could I use the f-20 manifold, since they advertise new here. From the F-20's I have seen including my own I suspect the cast iron metalurgy was not the best interms of high temp corrosion so I would doubt i can get good used. Does IHC still supply any parts?

Name plate on the right side panal under the right arm rest if it is still there. 3 track rollers & PTO plate below the clutch/brake covers (round covers) in back. Used a 3 3/4" x 5" engine (same as F20 except head) & fuel pump. Any more info needed, email me.

IH tractractors were built from 1931 thru 1939 and included the models t-20, t-35, td-35, t-40, td-40. 20 series was built from 1931 thru 1939, the 35 series from 1936-1939 and the 40 series from 1932-1939. the t-20 engine was based on the F-20 engine with slight changes, including an rpm increase of 50.

T-20 built 1932-36 with 15,082 produced. Engine does look like F-20 but has block mounted fuel pump. Also uses water pump and larger valved head. Did see a T-20 in Montana with F-20 engine installed. Without a fuel pump it may fuel starve on incline or maybe not?? They weigh in at about 7000 lbs. About the same size as Cat 20. Ed.

I believe they used 10-20 engines and later F-30/W-30 engines which look like a F-20 engine but are a little bigger.
