I am in the process of turning a Farmall H into a Super H .Does any one know for sure !!!!! if the cylinder heads are interchangable ????

You can't turn an H into a Super, and if you think putting oversize pistons in the engine makes it a Super, think again.

Please don't put super decals on it either, there are already enough fakes out there to keep everyone busy...

They will interchange, but only with flat top pistons. If you try putting a H head on a Super H with step head pistons, the pistons will hit the head.....

On tractors this old you sometimes find exceptions but on most i see the main difference
between H & SH heads is on SH the combustion chamber is sloped on side oppisite spark plug
and H is not. As pointed out in previous follow
up some pistons will hit H cylinder head.
