Wondering if anyone knows the way to wire the Amp and lite switch box on a 1948 M.D. That has been converted to 12 volts with an Alternator. The manual has the wiring from the regulator which is not on the tractor any more. A diagram would be a great help. thanks John

John - Wire one ammeter post to the battery + terminal. The other ammeter terminal gets everything else (wire from the alternator "BAT" terminal, feed wire to the light switch, feed wire to the ignition, etc). If the ammeter reads backward when you are done, simply reverse the wires at both ammeter terminals.

Punch below for a diagram. It's not specifically for an MD but it shows the basic charging system wiring. ...Bob M
