Could someone please tell me an easy way to remove the sleeves from the block. Is there a secret to doing this and can I do it with the block left in the frame. These are dry sleeves I believe. Thanks, Paul

The safest way is with a sleeve puller. Search the archives and you should get some ideas about how to get one made for you. You shouldn't need to remove the engine to get the sleeves out.

Weld a small bead down each one they shrink pull them out.And keep the slag from getting on the crank.
