Maybe he is getting old. I have started letting him in nights and keep him tied to the doorpost. I've been up and on ebay since before 5. When do you guys get up?

I'm up by 4:45, drive 25 miles to work. Work a 10 hour day, then home by 5:00 and feed. Working 4 10's right now and it's nice to have a three day weekend.

Bob

I get up at 4:30, read the paper, etc., am at work about 5:30. Get off work at 3 p.m., so it's worth it. Then I still have lots of daylight left for the good stuff.

Cows are not on a set schedual. They get used to being fed first thing in the winter but that varies. If it is a cloudy day I am apt to be an hour late but they don't seem to notice. They just stand around till they hear me coming. Not like they got anything else to do. Sure glad I don't have to "go to work"

Cowman: I usually rise at 5am, make coffee, read the news online, then hit YT. Often wondered why I am the only soul on YT at 5:30am, then I supose I am a couple of time zones ahead of a lot of you. Scotty in NY often catches up with me. Other than that these easterners are not up early on mass.

Usually up at 6:30 or 7. Usually at work by 8, sometimes as early as 6, sometimes as late as 10, usually work til 5, sometimes quit at 2, often as late at 10pm. Lately I am working all the time, except when I am not.

Howdy,

I'm up at 3am; not that I want to, I have to to keep all these mouths fed.

Oh well, we do what we have to do.

Allan

I'm a night owl by nature(in my line of work that's almost as bad a curse as having hay fever- which I do), so I can ASSURE you that any posts you see made by me at 3:00AM or thereabouts means I'm STILL up, not that I'm JUST up!

Usually though, this time of year I get up around 7:30 to get the kids dressed, lunches made, and dropped off at school by 8:30(I'm a single dad).
