Hmmm,

How come all those clean, neat old tractors that I "just gotta have & can't live without" are all located so far away (east of the big river)? :>(

Boy! There are some real sweethearts that come across those photo ads.

'Course, guess there are a fair share of junkers sprinkled in amongst the offering too.

Okay, I'll just set here patiently 'till I catch a close one.

Allan

I'm with Buggy. Farmalls are scarce here in north Florida - this is Ford country. Seems to be an 8N or 9N on every corner. I can't complain much though, I just picked up a '50 Super A and '57 Cub for $750 apiece, both need a lot of work (of course that's the idea). The guy who who sold them to me (he had them for about 2 years but never got them running) bought them in an auction in MO and hauled them down - so I guess the exceptin proves the rule in this case.

Allan, know how you feel, down my way all the good stuff is up north, as in Ohio and Indiana. Would love to spend some time going to farm auctions but down this way, Alabama, they seem few and far between.

Buggy, farm auctions - real ones like we want to attend - are getting very rare in Western Iowa too. My nickel.
