26 inches of snow in Barton, Vt. I got 22 inches 6 miles from there. Darn it.

Kelly, I'm in Mid Michigan, and as I look out the window I see nary a speck of snow. Whatever snow there was fell either north of us or south of us. This is not uncommon here in the Saginaw valley. There's no doubt in my mind tho that we'll get our fair share of winter abuse before spring visits us. Last year, I didn't have to shovel out at all, but it was very cold all winter. Who knows what this winter will bring. I know one thing, and that is by February, we begin to vigorously question those who insist that global warming is real.

I suggest you read up on global warming. The result of global warming is the loss of steady temperatures, due to the ocean temperatures being changed by the faster melting glaciers. We will be finding more fluctuations in temperature both in summer and winter. Global warming is not about a gradual temperature rise all over, it is about unstable temperatures and weather, sorta like a governor that does not hold steady, but hunts and seeks to find normal, causing the rpm to rise and fall.

Yeah,

Those guys back east always get to have all the fun.

Weather man says snow here today in western NE, but you know what a liar he is. :>)

Kelly, it all depends on what you call fun,Snow Friday was wet and heavy, cub plowed that fine, got on it right away.Weather man called for rain and sleat, like a dumby I listend to them, woke up Sat. morning to another foot or so of fun,had to go down to the field to dig my plow out for the old Ford p/u after moving an old car and a little digging and about 2 hours later, I was plowed out again. The wosrt thing was the ice under the snow, and how wet it got.I will admit caught me with my pants down south of the Mason Dixon,

My part of CT got about 6 inches, and lots of blowing. I plowed my yard and several neighbors, then went to the girlfriend's house and plowed with her cub, then took her daughter to the school parking lot and taught her how to come out of a skid, and how to stop. Good news is most of the yuppies stayed home so the roads were empty. The girlfriend went christmas shopping saturday and said the stores were empty and she got all her stuff with no hassle. The older I get, the less I like winter and snow.

Hey Joe, send some of that to southern Indiana. I love the snow. My wife hates it tho, she was born and raised in the central interior of British Columbia, Canada.

I'm glad I don't live out that way any more, but the weather man says its on the way here. Just hope I don't need the snow plow yet.
