I was wanting to replace the graphite throw out bearing on my A. I went to the IH dealer and he could not find it upon his computor. It showed a carrier with a ball bearing, but no graphite bearing. The change over would cost about $150. Does any one know the No. of the origonal bearing? Thanks.

Another way to go is to find a used carrier, or buy a new one from IH. Then go to a clutch shop or bearing house and buy the bearing there. When I redid my clutch, the clutch shop that did the rebuild had the bearing. Mine already had the carrier for the ball bearing.

Try finding a used carrier and buy just the bearing..... .lot cheaper unless you lookin to stay original.

Case IH still offers the graphite bearing, but it will cost close to the conversion price. Converting it to the conventional thrust bearing is the best route to go.
