Found a Farmall (H??) that appears to have factory built grader conversion replacing front wheels. Has about 8 ft. blade mounted on ring, possibly solid front tires, maybe 10 ft. longer than normal tractor. Does anyone have any information on these? Thanks for help.

I have one. It not like the one in the photo. (Bob M's photo) Mine is a regular M completely. 38" rubber. Hasn't run for 20 years. Looked like it was a good grader in its day. Mine has an arched frame for the grader. instead of straight. I beleive It is a W-6 or W-9 rearend in the one in the photo. Just my 2 cents. Don

Punch below for a photo of a garder based op a Farmall M caught at a tractor show a couple years ago. If memory serves me it was built by the Trojan Co at their plant in Batavia NY.

There were several companies that built grader conversions for IH tractors-IH never built a conversion itself. Off the top of my head were Adams and Meili-Blumberg. There were more.

The small town just north of here had an M that was converted to a motorgrader. Don't know much about it. It has been gone for many years. If there is a heavy equipment salvage yard around someone there might know something about these conversions.
