Was at my IH dealer today and asked what the new tractors they had out front were. They were Mcormick. IH sold their European plant where all 100 hp IH/Case tractors were designed and built recently. Mcormick is back not owned by fiat. Unfortunatly they dont have rights to the old stuff but it is interesting.

I recently had the opertunity to see a CIH &comperable new holland model side by side. dont remember the model# but they were 150 hp or so all they were was red fords, sickening! mabey Mccormick is the one that will carry on the heritage. by the way Iconsider putting the farmall name on the boomer tractors [another ford] an insult

The McCormicks I saw at a recent farm show were the 70 to 100 HP CX models which had the same transmission/rear end as the older IH 695,795,895
models but instead of the D239 German Diesel they had a Perkins diesel.

I think you will find the "Farmalls" will be updated compacts from Japan. Actually, they will be an updated "Boomer" Robert

If I understand it correctly, Case/NH leased the rights to the McCormick name to Landini, who is building the tractors at the former IH plant at Doncaster, England. Doncaster plant had to be sold due to European Union antitrust objections at the time of the Case/IH & New Holland merger.
I think the tractors are basicly the same as Magnums except with Perkins engines instead of Cummins.
Somebody please correct me if I got any of that wrong.

The CX line is the next series smaller than the Magnum line. They were the updated 95 series line with the perkins engines.
