Some aftermarket pistons & sleeves will work, but make sure the pistons will work with the cyl head you have.. I have a set of NOS IH F12 pistons & Sleeves, and they will not work with the F14 head due to the design of the combustion chamber. Bearings will work, but that will require you to make new locking tab slots (I have NOS F12 & 14 bearings in STD & 0.030). If I remember right the A & B Bearings are also narrower than the F12 & 14 bearings. Also, bearings in the F12 are serial number specific.... As far as the gaskets are concerned, they are different.

Mike, if you send me an email address, I'll forward you my excel spreedsheet of all costs and where I got the parts for my 34' F-12 rebuild that I just completed. Had about $2400 total, including the original price of the tractor. Motor was totally shot and had to be completely rebuilt. Zak
