What oil do you guys use on an H to lube the Magneto, Generator and starter? The manual says to use SAE 20 in the generator and starter (a few drops) and to use sewing machine oil or cream seperator to lube the Magneto. I am not sure what sewing machine oil or cream seperator oil is so I have been using 3 in 1 oil for electric moters that says SAE 20 on the little can in the starter, generator and magneto. Thanks!!

I guess the one thing I would add is it seems wise to me to dissasemble the mag, clean and grease both the armature bearings and the impulse coupling. I was at a show one time at Bird City KS and the older guys (they should have known better) had helped a boy restore his first tractor, a Farmall H. The second day the impulse locked up and busted the mag housing all to smash.

3 in 1 is sewing machine oil as far as the rest I'd probably use regulor 20w oil for them
