Hey Kelly, Great looking machines!! I have a question that's a little off the subject. I see you've done a good job on your restorations. Is all red the original color scheme of the 400? I have a 1956 400LP that I bought with the grill and the stripe under the McCormick Farmall on the side painted white. I've seen both. Which is original?

Just in case somebody who knows more about it than I do doesn't come along, I'll venture that the white grill was original starting with the 350, 450 and that dealers, etc., often made the change to 300, 400 and even SM and SH to make them look more up-to-date.
You might ask in a fresh thread to attract one of the board's paint experts.

Thats my 400. I just got that in Oct.
It does have a all hydralic loader.

Kelly, Nice snow toys you have there. I also have an H with a snow plow on it. I used it this morning even though I probably didn't need to. My driveway is V shaped, the school bus comes in one side and backs out the other. I just wanted to make sure the bus driver knew where the driveway was. Sure was nice to drive the H, it ran perfectly. Cold though 12 degrees and very windy. I am in western Wisconsin, just east of the Twin Cities.

Hey Kelly, Nice picture looks like your havin some fun, think its headed our way. Hope you really didnt mean that comment the other day about guys who work on A and B tractors are yuppie fodder. At 52 years of age and being a toolmaker for the last 32 years and having raised a family I would like not to be categorized as a yuppie cuz I cant get anything bigger than a C in my garage. Just seein if your on your toes!

I didnt mean that any one who had one was a yuppie.
Heck I would love to have a A, B and give me a Cub wile your at it too.
Now if you couple our demand on Cubs and Yuppie demand on Cubs. You end up paying what you could pay for 4 H's just to get one Cub.
I under stand that there were about a zillion more H's made than Cubs so that has to be factored in also.

Also I am not pissed at Yuppies any way. 1st I might be one and just dont know it. Also some one has to buy my horse hay!!!

Dont know what brand loader it is. I cant find a tag on it any where. Sure works good though. It will lift way more than I should.
