Chuck: I would go with what CNKS said, I have a trailer that size to haul my tractors. My brother has used it many times to haul his 230 and pulling it with his S-10 Chevy 4x4. Sometimes I wonder if he doesn't get along better than I do with my 3/4 ton 2wheel drive diesel. He uses torsion bars, I don't, but I can also put tractor between trailer axles and hitch.

Actually for a C/Super C a trailer with 2 3500 lb axles is adequate. Assuming the tractor weighs 3500 lbs (this is high, but I am allowing for wheel weights, etc, and the trailer 1500, thats 5000 lbs including trailer that has capacity of 7000 lbs. Advantage is that it can be towed with a half ton pickup, without exceeding the gross combined vehicle weight. If you have a bigger pickup, whatever works for you.

Chuck,
I'd say around 3,000 lbs without rear weights or fluid in the tires. A standard double axle 18' equipment trailer rated at 8-10K should be just fine.
