When I start up my Farmall B, water comes out of the exhaust for a minute or so. What is the worst and best things that it could be? I plan to use it for mowing only. Could I just run it and not be concerned? The head is good and the head gasket has been replaced but the blocked is cracked on the side and has been repaired. Easy and cheap solutions welcomed!

First question is does water (anti-freeze) disappear from your radiator? If it does you have a problem, if not then it very well could just be condensation in the exhaust. My 300 will do this if it has been run and shut off alot without being really warmed up and ran hard especially in cooler weather. Brian

The anti-freeze does not appear to be going down--and yes, I have been starting it a lot and running for short spurts. Thanks for the info Brian--it was want I wanted to hear!!

Add some wonder weld type of additive to your radiator, follow the directions carefully and it should solve your problem cheaply and effectively;I did a Case930 comfort King which was leaking badly, head or block wise, did thousands of hours on that afterwards.
Best of luck.
