1943 Farmall H followed me home today. After a little tinkering started up and drove off the trailer. It seems to be timed a little slow, guess I'll have to take the drive off and move the gear a tooth. It has a real good 30 or 31 mccormick loader on it. But I don't quite know what to do with another loader. The tires all hold air so at leas I have something to play with.

Bryce,

Did you know Doug Bullock when he was the City Manager down there?

How about Glen Long over in Mo Valley?

Allan

Just a skiff out here in the hills. Rapid is buried I hear.

Sounds like your old H had one too many sets of hands in it prior to your ownership. :>)

Cowman, I know what you mean. I went to Tennessee a couple months ago, and when I got back home, Lo and behold, a 1940 "A" was sitting on my trailer. Way too far to take it back, so I guess I'll keep it. I have a little tinkering to do also, because I would hope I can tune it up good enough so that it doesnt need coaxed to keep running when first cranked. Key word is "cranked". No electric starter. Hopefully, new plugs and wires, rebuilt carburetor, and all the obvious, easy access stuff will do the trick. Good luck on your "H".
