Rebuild kik for a Carter carburetor

I'm wondering if there are any after market or local sources for a Super A, Carter carburetor rebuild kit. My IH dealer quoted me a price of $67 and I was hoping to find it at a price that would be a little nicer to my restoration budget.

Also, I have a fuel bowl drain plug that is stuck tight and the throttle stop screw is twisted off. The body of this unit is relatively thin and I'm a little worried that if I put too much pressure on these I'll break the body. I would apply heat, but the material looks like it could be melted or warped easily as well. Any suggestions?

Thanks in advance!

I have an extra aftermarket carb kit for the Carter, which isn't doing me any good since I don't have a Carter. Send me an email if interested and I can send you a picture of the kit.

It is a good possibility that all you need is a needle/seat, and the gasket between the main body, and bowl, and the gasket between the carb and manifold. I bought these at the local dealer individually some time back. Not sure what is in the kit they are selling, but there is not much to these carbs. As far as your stuck parts soak real well with PB Blaster, and give them a try. I have had very good success with it.
