Will the M wiring diagram work for a Farmall 100. And the 10SI is the "three wire alternator" ? And do you have to have the test light for the system to work? Thanks

Do you have a diagram for a 100?

Bob M will probably answer with a wiring diagram. I used the 10SI on an H, and it is three wire. I believe you need the light to prevent battery feedback to the alternator, altho' I am not a very good electrician. I followed Bob M's diagram and everything worked well.

I converted an H to 12 volts. I went to the local dealer and they had a plug that went into the alternator. That plug had a diode in it so I didn't need the light.

Is there a 3 wire 10SI and a one wire 10SI and if I use the single wire will I need a diode or light?

Yes there is a single wire 10SI. Only one wire and no need for lamps or diodes. I believe it is the marine version.
