High Oil pressure on M

I recently overhauled my M. It might have 20 hours on the rebuild. The oil pressure runs a consistant 65 psi. Is that too high? If so, how do I turn it down?

Thanks

That's normal for a Super M. We have a pair of these tractors - both run 65 - 70 psi cold and 50 - 60 hot.

That is just fine. The IH blue ribbon service manuals list the operating oil pressure for the M at 60-70 psi. All my H & Ms that I have rebuilt hold a strong 72psi oil pressure, but I am positive that this is due to the tight tolerances that the crankshafts were reground, as the bearing clearances were the minumum listed in the service manual.
