I am thinking of getting a remote control valve so I can run 2 way cylinders with my H. I know I could get a modern valve but I want to keep my tractor sort of origional. I was wondering, how well do they work? Is the control rod hard to push? Can I still use a one way cylinder with the lift-all control rod or will I have to disconnect the hydraulic hose going from the Lift-All to the Remote Control valve first? Thanks?

I believe that you have to lock the lift-all control rod in the pulled out position to get high pressure to the remote control valve. You will need to plumb the return line back to the sump. You can then run either a two-way or one-way cylinder. The one-way requires the weight of the implement to compress the cylinder. You just need to hold the control valve in the down postion and let the hydraulic oil drain back into the sump.
