Gentlemen, It is not a scam by any means. If someone told you that it would only take a few weeks, they were in la-la land. Think about it for a moment before you go spreading bad vibes. The photographer took literally thousands of photos at the show. They have to be edited by the Show Book Committee, and put together in a rough layout. Then the text for all the photos has to be generated. Not to mention getting several thousand books professionally printed. In all the past years of IHC Show Books, they have normally been ready for Xmas delivery. You can't hurry quality and that's what these books have been. Last, but not least, the labor for all the above is donated by Chapter members, for the good of the IH collecting community. If you want to pay $40 or $50 for the Showbook, then maybe you could get it quicker. Mike Androvich, Past President IH Collectors.

MIKE, I NEVER ONCE SAID IT WAS A SCAM,NOR DID I EVER ONCE BELIEVE IT WAS,I was just curious on where they were. I realize that it takes awhile for quality, and I don't doubt one bit that it will be anything but, i was just curious if anyone else has recieved their's...But what about the toy tractors?...-Scoob

I apologize to YOU since you did not say it was looking like a scam. The other guy used those words. That's what got me a little fired up! Having been exposed to the Showbooks from the very beginning, I am a little protective of the volunteers that work without thanks in doing these tasks. All the rest of the collectors get to enjoy their work when they get their books, and they just get silent satisfaction from all the time they gave away to make it happen. As for the toys, I have no idea on their status. I will find out and post it here.
