Hi Scotty--if you buy a new one dont pitch the old one ---we need a float bowl if its a Carter. I can send you JPG's of Zenith -Carter- IH carbs to help identify which you have. I will check the email box!!

Unless the housing is broken or cracked or it is very corroded, you may not need a new carb, as rebuild kits are readily available. If you have a nearby Case-IH dealer, take the gasket that fits between the bowl and the throttle body and compare it with the diagrams on his computer, you will then know the make and model of your carb.

Thanks for the info. I have already taken that route and got a rebuild kit but the carb.is still givng me troubles, can not stop the carb. from dripping gas. New needle and seat, float, gasket, I have played with the float level so much that I'm about to wear the float and screws out taking this thing apart. I'm ready for a new carb. this one even looks rough, that's why I can't find no numbers it's in such rough shape but I don't know for sure what to buy.... Thanks... Scotty

Scotty, My C (Gas) has a Carter UT carb on it, but as far as I know, you can't buy new ones.
I think the only new carbs available are made by Zenith.
Here is the info I have:
C (Gas) Carter UT733S or SA, Marvel Schebler TSX319, or Zenith 161X7-10386.

For Kerosene or Distlate Carter UT734S, Marvel Schebler TSX333,or Zenith 161X7-10441.

Gary
