I am looking at a International 350 Utility with the fast hitch. My question is, can the lift/hitch arms be adjusted in and out like the lift arms on a 3PH? I know that the fast hitch can be converted to 3PH, but not all 3PH implements are the same width. If I can't move them in and out then I am screwed, or have to buy all new equipment for the fast hitch. A guy told me that in order to get this conversion to work properly, all my 3PH attachments had to be the same width. I don't see any way to do that. OR, can this be taken off completely and an after market 3PH installed? If so, where can I find one? All my books show the conversion. Any help is appreciated, Todd.

I have a 200 with fasthitch converted to 3 point. Yes, the converted 3 point cannot be adjusted for width, although there is some slack in the system. If you look hard enough, you can find impliments that come pretty close to your needs. Also, you can shim the 3pt pins with washers or slices of pipe to fit. Most of the impliments I have got this treatment to make 'em fit. Couple of times, I even had to get pins with longer threaded portions.

Todd, I have three tractors with the Fast Hitch. IH made a 2 to 3 point conversion that simply plugs into your fast hitch. Its very simular to the modern quick hitch that a lot of late model tractors with 3 point have. Anyway these adapter are not hard to find or build. I simply have one attached permently to all my 3 point equipment. If you have never had a tractor with a 2 point fast hitch then you don't know what your missing. You simply back your tractor up aliening the two point prongs with the receiver sockets keep backing until the latch levers drop into place, lift and go. Pretty safe and painless.

Red Rider, I can get a coversion kit that snaps into the receiver sockets. What I need to know is, can the lower arms (sockets) be swung in and out for different width emplements? Where can I find a picture of the adapter you are talking about, or the adapter itself? Thanks for the reply. No, I haven't ever owned a tractor with a fast hitch. I don't need a tractor this BIG, but I found it and really would like to give it a new place to park!!!!! !!! Thanks again, Todd.

Todd, The adaptor I have and have seen most often can be adapted to either width of 3 point equipment. The lower brackets can be unbolted and switched for either width. Not as quick or easy as a swinging arm system, but it does work. I can email you a photo of mine if nobody else has offered yet.

Hey Todd
I have an old M that has a fasthitch from a 400/450 mounted on it and it works great. I have never had a situation where I could not hook up to an implement as of yet. I have a set of arms that slide into the fasthitch reciever that basically look like any other tractors lift arm with the ball socket. I know what your saying about "side sway" to ease the hooking up to the implement. Here's how I do it. I unlatch my arms so I can slide them out about 6 - 8 inches then back up close to whatever it is I am hitching to. With the arms slide out, you will be able to move them sideways, up, down, etc. Just hitch them up, back up till it clicks then connect your toplink... Get the picture..
