Can any one tell me what kind of turbo that will work on my 560 diesel and where to drain the oil back into the engine? I have heard this being done but does not look like there is enough room. Also heard had to change the air cleaner, is this true? Bought a big round baler and need about 20 more pto hp.

David: I have to agree with Allen, get the right guy on that pump and he can turn 90-100 hp out of your 560, without the turbo. I ran my 560 in that range from new to 17 years and 11,000 hours. At 11,000 hours it did blow up on a silage blower and scattered engine parts all over the barnyard. I recommend not being in the path of pistons when thay go.

To start with the 560 is now 40 years old and having had the experience with a new one, I wouldn't recomend it on a 40 year old tractor. The turbo will be just as hard on it. Before you are done it will have been less expensive to buy a good used 806 or 856. My 560 running at 90 hp burned up a pto unit every two years. As you can tell I was also running 750 to 800 hours per year. It wasn't cheap doing this with new one, it will be even more expensive today.

IH Made a kit back in the 60's M&W made a kit same time don't have to change the air cleaner but a 650 cleaner will work better. Don't where to get this stuf now.
