What would be a fair price for a Farmall 560 gas with a wide front and fast hitch in excellent condition and new rear 15.5X38 tires? Also what is an International model 37 disc with a two way cylinder worth?

Ret: On the subject of the Farmall 560. If I were buying that size of tractor, I would go diesel only. The fuel consumption on the gasser will be about 4-5 times as much as the diesel. A 560 gas will not have the working hp of the diesel either.

Disks are rather a generic item, if the dealer ordered them in new with heavy disk blades, gang bolts, spacers and bearings they are worth good money. If they were ordered in light at 20 years they are little more than scrap metal. Best thing to do in the case of a disk is compare several. Disk blades should have good thickness, 1/4" to 3/8" at the hub, still with good concave, on a 10 footer the arbor bolt should be 1.5" diameter. Spacers should be 3-4 inch diameter with a good 6 inch bell shape behind the blade. All these things strengthen the disk as well as adding the weight to make it cut good.

Figure $50 for the disc if the cylinder doesn't leak.
