The restoration of my 46 H is done and it only took me three weeks. It was bought new by my grandfather and sat in a barn for a few years until i bought it from him in 1998.

Steve, Great job on this ol' Darlin! But if you can get the stories about her! It will mean just that much more. Did your Grandfather have a name for her? The times she came throught when nothen else could or did! What all your Grandfather & Grandmother did to save enough to buy such a nice piece of equipment. Were horses/mules retired, Was this the farms first tractor. Etc,etc, etc. Good luck, on what Paul Harvey calls "The Rest of The Story"
Anyhow I would love to have found out this on mine. Those who knew are no longer with us!
Anyway, Sure-enough a great job on your ol 46 H.
Later,
John A.

Steve, Great looking "H". I finished restoring my '52 "H" last spring, but havent taken pictures of the finished product. It gives me goose bumps every time I go out in the shed and look at it. I hope my '40 "A" turns out as nice. So, what's your next project?

Allan, here you go --

Steve, looks very good. Someday you'll need to think about getting that grille insert that always gets lost on H's.

Atta boy Steve!!!

Great looking tractor. You did great.

What size of rear tires are on it? Are they oversize? Can't tell from the picture, but it sets as though it were a Super H. :>)

Just wondering. Nice job!!

it has 12.4-38's on it, it's left rear rim is a farmall 350 rim i believe, which has more bumps and curves than the origional rim on the other side cause it had sat out around 30 years ago and the weather and fluid in the tires, but there is no fluid now. it's funny you say super h because the engine was rebuilt about 22 years ago with a super h engine kit.
