I have removed mounting bolts on castings for PTO/belt shaft but something is still holding from coming loose. Does anyone know what is last disconnect on maybe the shaft inside the shift tube ? Or what may be holding in place (casting itself is loose max 1/8 inch).

I am assuming that the pto on the C and Super C are very similar. On my C is was able to wiggle the entire unit and once the gasket broke free everything just slipped right out. You may try moving the pto lever back and forth to see if that makes any diffence. It shouldn't but stranger things have happened in this old world.

Thanks for help. It took more wiggling than I was doing. Centering pins (did not know they were there) had a pretty good hold.
