This summer i purchase a " M " with a wfe. and a loader. it also has power steering. on one of the steering arms it says schwartz. i am wondering if the front is correct for this tractor. sometimes it seems hard to turn and then it would be fine. sometimes if i go forward and turn the wheel to one side and back up and turn wheel the oposite way the front end will pop. i have some pictures on the my epson site.

I would appreciate your thoughts

Mike,
The Schwartz is an aftermarket kit. I don't think you could get anything but the one for an M to fit an M.

The on again / off again thing with the ease of steering sounds like a hydraulic problem, or valve adjustment. The occasional pop sounds like a worn king pin or tie rod end. You'd need someone standing close to while it popped to easily isolate the source.

Next question is if the power steering is also aftermarket, like M&W, then maybe someone could help with adjustments / pointers.

Thanks Mike

Mike,
I don't think they do. Might be a slipping in the drive, the fluid type, a hose problem, etc.

In case you don't have it -- here's where you can find an installation and instrucion manual for it.
