I seem to remember seing an odd little cub on this web site with a narrow front end. I cannot find it now. I do not believe IH ever made one and I wonder who put the thing together. Anyone recall seeing it? Who owned it?
Thanks.

If this is the one you're thinking about, it was built by George Willer. Unique maybe, but never "An odd little cub".

I do not know Bigdog. I do not think this is the one. It was in a shop or a building. I do not recall seeing the two seats on it. You may be right.
I did not want to give the impression of saying it was bad or funny, just different than the production versions.
I have a friend who says there was one came from IH with the narrow front like a "B", and I am saying I do not think so. I have an IH book with many of the prototypes and cannot find one like it.
His looks factory...but I find it hard to believe.

Bill,

It wasn't the IH factory. That one was created in the Fremont Farmall Factory from spare parts. I didn't have a front axle. :-)

This picture shows most of the Cubs that live here. There are only two missing. About like Bigdog's collection.

Nice collection George. Maybe one day I will have as many.
Make no mistake, I was just trying to see if my friend has a real NF Cub, or is he trying to fool me. I was not knocking your tractor. I just knew I saw one somewhere other than his.
My goal is to have a collection of as many number series as I can. I have a 450D, a 350U, a 300U and a hot rod A with a 153 engine from a combine in it.
But, they are not as pretty as yours.

Bill,

I know of one other. Is this your friend's?

No George, it looks like a B but only smaller. I will try and get over there one day and get a picture. It looks good.
This is a lot of good machine work on this one.
