I am thinking of going to look at a 350 w/loader with out power steering. It sounds like a good tractor otherwise. I am just concerned that it might be a bear to steer with a load in the bucket. I would be mostly using it to load manure.
Thanks
Pete

Power steering is a real help on a loader tractor, but you can get along without it. You might need to learn some short backward and forward maneuvers though, to get the tractor heading in the direction you want to go. If you will be using it only occasionaly, you will get along, if this will be an all day job, your arms will be shaking when you are done.

Rusty: Yes but, if it is an all day job every day for two weeks the aches will disapear. My dad and I loaded the manure from 70 head of holsteins for about 20, years with H and then 300. Counter weights on drawbar can help a lot.

Let,s put it this way if it is narrow front it will help with your weight lifting program. If it is wide front my not help as much. In other words power steering would help a big bunch.
