anyone tell me what a 10-26 tractor looks like and if it would be a good restoration project.

Need a little more information. The 1026 was made in 70 and 71. It had a DT407 engine and a hydrostat transmission and looked like a 1256 or 1456. This could be an expense project but you would have a big tractor when you were done. The 10-20 was a small general purpose tractor made back in the 20's. Let us know the age of the tractor and we could be more helpful.

maybe a 1026? 1970-71, hydrostatic drive, 110+/- hp. looks like an 856- 1256. i'd love to add one to my herd. hydro would be the most expensive section to restore if it needed it.

Good thought, I didn't think about it that way.

I don't recall any IH tractor that was designated a "10-26"
10-20 & 15-30, but not 10-26. Are you sure of the model number?
