Well, we made it through the Cedar Fire in San Diego. Fire came within 6 feet of torching the house. We lost a garage and everything in it. It's amazing we didn't lose the house. Fire burned right around our house and got the garage and everything else. Out of the 8 neighbors we had, only 2 are left. We counted close to 100 homes surrounding mine that are destroyed. Pretty amazing. Check out the flames moving toward the house in the tractor photo section. My 100's exhaust pipe is in plain view of the flames.

Reid, Glad to hear you made it OK! I have been watching the news and am amazed at the amount of acreage on fire! Also glad to hear that neat little tractor made it also. Maybe that tractor is happy were it is!

Reid, I read your earlier post about leaving your tractor behind..glad it turned out as well as it did. We have had lots of news coverage about the fires way out here in southern Ontario. Good luck from Mike in Exeter Ontario

Reid: Count your blessings, the home, Farmall and family are safe. I have seen pictures of the Farmall, sharp little tractor. I presume the same tractor you had in photo adds. If you hadn't been so far away, I would be tempted to respond. If tractor is as good mechanically as it looks, your price is not out of line

We still aren't sure how me made it through the fire. Our neighbors are gone. One if our garages is gone but not the house. The flame swere so hot it metled the cylinder head off of a Mo-Ped, the handlebars of bicycles, and some aluminum sheetmetal. It was totally bizarre. Puzzling the way mother nature decides to work with some people and against others.
