706 LP, 3 point and remotes quit working while round baling. PTOs work great. TA, steering, brakes all work great.

Changed fluid and filter, no improvement. Arms in lowered position. Maint provided by previous owner not the best (Water in fluid, etc.) Small amount of fluid dips from remote couplers, but no appriable pressure.

Is it the 'rear' pump? Is there something simple I am missing?

Chuck's test is no good unless you put a hase on an outlet and back into the dipstick hole and put the lever on demand to that port because the oil returns to oil rear end not saying the relief valve will not cause the problem. Your problem could be the load valve under the seat from the front a big plug that will screw out. If o ring on piston is bad the valve will not load the system.

Remove the three point upper link cover at the back of the differential housing and start the tractor and look into the rear housing and see if there is any hytran spilling down from the top back into the resevour. If there is hytran running down from the top your pressure regulator may be stuck open.If there is no fluid running down then you have a supply problem at the pump.Yes the rear pump is the one that is for the three point and auxillary hydraulics
