A buddy of mine has a SM that was converted to run a cotton picker. It has the rear axle raised to look like a high crop. It is driven with gears
instead of chains. Therefore, it runs backwards. The Question is, can you flip the third member and make it run frontward again?
He would like to keep it high. Thanks

no problem. just switch the ring gear to the other side.

It appears the ring gear is too far off set to just switch it. It would make the ring gear hit the pinon in the middle. Thanks Norman
