I built a 1/2 size [approximetly] W9 tractor using a U1 cub engine and cub cadet trans. rear end. My problem,, It is jumping out of 2nd gear on a slightly hard pull. I want to fix this. Can anyone tell me what to look for, and what to do to rectify this situation? help please.

I'd suggest first checking to make sure the poppets in the shift rails are working alright. Couple sites directed specifically at CC's are ihcubcadet.com and theihcubcadet registry. Someone there can walk You thru the details. Hope you got the manuals for the rearend in Your tractor. Sounds like kinda a neat little tractor You have.
