My future brother in law just bought most of a Farmall M in total pieces. It came with a set of clamp in fenders. The have a cast iron piece that clamps on to the axle and is 8 - 10 inches tall before the clamshell fender is attached. Any Ideas?

If they are the flat type clam shell fenders they are probably from a C or Super C. If they are the round top type clam shell fenders they probably are from a 240.

340 fenders bolt on to the top of the axel with a flat mounting. The fenders for a C, Super C, 240 fit around the top half of the axel using a U bolt on the bottom.
