Hey you Michigan guys, better get in on this one. I was in Detroit this morning. had a few minutes to wait, so tuned in a few radio stations. A radio station in Detroit is asking its listeners to e mail a description of their dream fantasy garage. The one judged to be the best will win that garage. Now I know all good Farmallers can come up with some quite elaborate and fantastic ideas for a garage. Better get your thinkong caps on for this one. It's a rock station WCSX, FM

Seems to me any garage would be great with a few good tractors in it.

Hugh, As soon as we get this last 1400 acres of corn in, maybe we can think of our fantasy garage. Right now, I would consider that to be one which we could find something amid the dirt, cardboard boxes, empty funguside containers, broken drive chain lengths, extension cords, air hoses, bottle jacks, dead batteries, buckets of dirty oil filters, tow chains, and everything else that will get appropriate attention as soon as the last kernal of corn is harvested. One might find a half way decent shop underneath all the clutter.

I live in the Detroit area, at least 50 miles from it, and I know the radio station. My question is do you only have to give a description of it in writing or pictures of what is the biggest and best.

Kurt: You'll have to listen in a bit, it was one of these items they were half way through it when I picked up on what they were saying. It seemed to me as though they were saying all you need do is send them an e mail describing your dream garage. Probably wouldn't hurt to include some drawings

I must admit being an old country fan, I didn't stay with that station long. I supose it is open to listeners in their area.

I'm sure glad you cleared that up Hugh I was thinking what were you doing listening to a rock station. You people have sent us some pretty good country stars over the years.

Jim: Sounds as though you thought I had gone bizzerk.

I have heard there is station in MI that plays old country, and when I'm talking old country, I'm pre 1960. I've never been able to find it, probably not a strong enough signal here in SW Ontario. Most of the guys I liked are gone now. Those guys that could pick a tune with their acoustic instruments. I think the only guy left that can do that is Willie.

Hugh in in the 40's and 50's KWTO in Spfg. Mo. had a lot of 15 min. shows which led into The Ozark Jubilee if you remember, I guess you got it in Canada? Porter Wagner from West Plains, not one of my favoriots, The Willis Bros, Red Foley, Patsy Cline, ect. 95% of the old stars passed thru here. They don't make Country Music like that any more.
