Hal,
I am in the middle of replacing the seals and brakes in an A which is pretty much the same process as B. The best help for me has been service manual and the parts book for A & B. Parts book has the exploded diagrams and numbers for everything. Case-IH dealer has it all including axle bearings. When you drive the short final drive axles out, use a block of hard wood. Also I got some tips from archives here. Feel free to email me if you have any questions.

Get some good blocking the drivers side is by the fender the other side is by the transmission. I use a cherry picker as the final drives are heavy i use a strap to go around the assys when taking apart. You should be able to get linning at a brake shop for around 25 and reline them yourself. I also turn the drums on a lathe with a sharp tool to get rid of the glaze and then realy have great brakes. Mite want to replace the seals as by now they probably are leaking grease from either the trans or the final drive. You can get them from CAR-QUEST for around 24 each. E-mail if you need their part number.
