outlets on 41 h head

on the exterior of the head of my 41 ''h'' there is - 3/8 '' threaded hole , on
the back of the head , were does this tie in to. also the tubing coming off the top of the governor were does this tie in to.

There should be a small tube coming off of the donaldson air cleaner, it connects to that hole. The tube coming off the top of the governor connects to a similar hole at the front of the head. This is all part of the crankcase breathing system, the two holes at either end of the head are then connected to each other by the tube that is installed roughly parallel to the valve rocker assembly, this tube will have one small hole drilled in it, to pull the gases out of that area.

thanks rusty farmall--what do i do if my breather has no hole to accept the tube from the rear of the head,

Take a look at another H to see how it's plumbed, then copy it.

The hole in the back of the head may be a 1/8 NPT pipe thread which is a breather hole plumbed to the air cleaner... ????? Just guessing here
