Help!!! My F-20 sat for about 3 months without running and when I went to start it, I found the #2 intake valve is stuck open. Any way to get it free without taking the head off?

someone posted the other day about pushing a length of rope through the spark plug hole and using the piston to push the valve shut. I have pryed on the spring with a tire iron and that works too.

You may need to remove the rocker shaft first, then spray some penetrating oil around the stuck valve, then gently tap the top of the valve stem with a small hammer, spray some more, tap some more, it should free up without having to remove the valve spring.

If it has a side tappet/valve cover you can pull it off and then take some thing like a punch and tap it closed and then turn it over and keep doing that till it works right but also some times just running it for a while will heat it up enough for it to free it"s self I just did some thing like that on a Cletrac crawler it had intake valves on # 2,3,and 4 stuck open the punch thing that is
