I was just wondering where I could get some information on a McCormick Deering WD9. Does anyone have any pictures or websites with information and photos of one. Is the WD9 tractor a very good one to restore. How much is a restored one worth. Any information would be greatly apreciated. Thanks Ted

Of course it is a very good tractor to restore! Good luck finding parts though- but when it is running well it is worth it!

Yes it is definitely worth restoring i have one i still work on the farm. it is really a workhorse. I'm considering entering it in antique tractor pulls. I've seen them advertised for about $2500.00 to $3000.00 I also have some good pics of mine

I just finished restoring one. It looks awsome. I rebuilt the engine and all. I know where you can get almost anything. Do you know where I can get another one to restore? (801) 372-1876 Scott

I notice you haven't gotten a whole lot of responses!

I think the W9 ought to be preserved since it is a machine which was involved in the development of the great farms which feed so much of the world.

Parts "ain't easy", from what I have learned. Especially for the engine, which is probably going to have to be rebuilt in most of the machines one will find.
