Will a 715 combine motor a 301 diesel work to replace my 706 282 diesel? What is going to be involved in changing it over or should I just overhaul my old motor? If I get the combine motor, will gain very much more power? Was told the 301 does not use oil and runs and starts real good.

It will not have sleves at least they can't crack. Should work but you will need to change some parts you may have to almost strip the blocks to get the mounting plates front and back. I would change pans.
