the sprocket piece is to drive a model 24 picker, it goes on the belt pulley drive flange. the tubing piece is a drawbar mounting piece that clamps to the axle with a strap welded to it, probably to hook a brace for the elevator on a mounted picker. the round piece with the screen is a spark arester for a h or m which was also used with a mounted picker. the contoured band is the extension band for the spark arrester. there do i get an 'a' for the test today?

Randy, You do indeed get an A for the test. Complete, correct and yet concise answers. Well done, too bad you missed the extra points available for answering that the 55 gal drum used for the work station came wrapped around International HyTran! Dick Davis

I am pretty sure the big thing with the hole in it the size of an M exhaust pipe is a spark arrester. the band is probably to hold it on.

I agree that it is an exhaust spark arrestor. We had one like that for use with a cornpicker on our F-20 picker. In Nebraska, we liked to pick ear corn when the ears and the stalks were dry.

The square tubing peice is a drawbar bracket that hold the drawbar to the axle housing.Ive got one like that on my M but just on one side, and my other M doesnt have any like that, with the exta little peice on the top.DOnt know what the gear thing is,the band looking peice looks like a starter or generator brush cover and the big peice looks like an air filter of some type?

the big piece has a casting inside with a hole about the size of the M exaust pipe. there are holes in the sides with screan over them. The little band kind'a matches the end of the cone shaped thing in the way it is flared.

I would say that the sprocket bolts on the belt pulley flange to run something by chain (i.e. hydraulic pump)
