I would like to hook up a snowblower on my Super A. Looking for info on which make of blower is most suitable and details on modifications needed to attach. Can it be mounted on front?

The others are correct, the Super A low gear(or the reverse gear) is just too fast to use with a snow blower. Don't know how deep your snow gets, but I have plowed snow up to 24 inches deep with a 140 that had a front blade which is basically the same as a Super A. You'll need lots of weight on the rear (solution in the tires) and also maybe tire chains if you have much hills. Mine was mostly level and I did not use chains. Mostly did the plowing at full throttle in third gear.

With the IH blade on the frount of my Super A I can out plow my neighbors Ford 3000 with a 3point blade. More control and better traction.

Roger You already have some good advise from CNKS. Two things a Super A is just geared to fast to do are snow blower and roto tiller.

I guarentee if you put a front blade on a Super A you will move more snow far more quickly than it will with a blower. Super A's are one mean little snow plowing machine. I have a 6' blade 18" high and can angle the blade. I have run across situations where blade could be higher. You probably could fabricate a blade for a 1/3 the cost of a blower. If you want to e mail me, I can advise you on a blade.

Unless you don't have much snow, you will probably find that the Super A is not geared low enough for it to work properly; also the pto/belt pulley is not live, meaning you cannot stop or slow the tractor in heavy conditions without also stopping the pto.
