If you run the betl pully with the TA engaged the belt pully will run to so and the belt feet per minite to so.

I believe the trany is set up the same as a 400, which means the pto does not go through the TA. By the way, my owners manual says to NOT run the belt pulley with the TA engaged.

I suppose the mass of the pulley spinning would turn the TA mechanism until it slowed to the driving RPM. Just like letting it coast downhill with the TA pulled. Which is another no-no.

I don't recall the Owner's Manual explaining why not to do this. I just assumed that it was unnecessary wear on the TA. I'll look again tonight.

TA has NO EFFECT on the Live PTO. TA Would slow a transmission driven PTO however. SMTA, 300, 350, 400, 450, 460, 560 etc. all drove the Live PTO off the center of the clutch pressure plate attached to the flywheel which spun anytime the engine was running. PTO clutch was in the PTO unit on the very back end of the rearend.
