When I bought my wife her super A, it came with "most" of the land plow, I have the beam, and all of the ground contact parts, but none of the linkeages. It was in very nice condition. We have never used it, and never will. My question is, are these parts a saleable item, or best sent to the steel pile? I don't want to junk good "stuff" but if they are like dinosaurs I'll toss em. I guess what I'm asking is, are they worth putting online for sale?
Thanx
Ron

The unfortunate situation of equipment availabilty is that there are now more tractors available than their equipment with people only restoring the tractors and tossing the equipment. It has already gotten to the point where some Cub fast-hitch equipment is already worth more than the tractors they came with. Cub rotovators and fast hitch two ways plow are 2 prime examples. I expect in the next couple of years those equipment prices will even get worse.

On a side note the only thing you are missing is a chain to attach the plow to the lifting arm. You can purchase that anywhere. The plow bolts to the drawbar after it's inverted and the depth lever bolts to the drawbar. The depth lever is on the right hand side and probably still mounted to the tractor.

I have a super a with a plow and im not sure it has the depth lever. the problem i have plowing is that if you put the right wheels in the furrow the plow is in the middle of the tractor and takes too much of a bite. i have the plow on the right side of the draw bar... any suggestions?
thank you..

Bob: I gather you are talking single bottom plow, right or wrong? How wide is the wheel tread set on your tractor? Center to center rear tires.

Hugh,
yes its a bottom plow. Someone was kind enough to email me and tell me that the wheels should be 44 on center. I think that will help. ill measure them this weekend. Thank you for responding.

Advertise them, someone might be looking for just what you have, to repair another one.
None of this old iron should ever go the scrap heap, too much of it has already been lost to the recyclers.
