I found a two bottom little genius plow on steel wheels, no paint but have always been kept inside. There is one small part that needs welded and the "triggers" on the levers need some repairs. I don't know hardly anything about plows except that I want one since my grandfather had one and I have his super C also. The fellow said make an offer, he is not real concerned about getting a lot of money but I don't want to cheat him either. What is a ballpark figure to offer?

I have 4 of these plows. The only one I paid a fair price for I gave $40 for. This was at an auction. One other one sat accross the road from my grandparents house for years. I never saw it in the fencerow until a couple years ago. Once I saw it I went over to my neighbors house(me and my father bought my grandparents house) and asked if it was for sale. I only gave $20 or something like that. The other 2 were given to me by a friend. So I have like $15 each in mine, but I am told I am an exception. I know where there are 2 more that I am trying to buy because they have much better wheels than mine. I have found that tailwheels are usually rotted on these. I use 2 plows to run and 2 for parts. If you let me know what parts you need I can see if I have them.

John: Two bottom Little Genius plows don't command big prices anymore, probably $100. to $200. Thirty years ago I came home one day, from town, my dad passed me $75. and said,"I sold your 2 bottom Little Genius plow". I had 5 plows at the time, all the way from 2 bottom to 5 bottom. I had planned on keeping the Little Genius as it was the first new plow my dad bought when he started farming, in 1942. So much for sentimental reasons.
