I started using this site about three or four years ago and it has been very helpful to me on my tractors and others tractors tha I work on. I appreciate all the folks that have come on the last year or so and have found the information they have provided very helpful, but does any one know what has happened to a lot of the folks that used to be regular users of this board a year or so ago? This is a great site and almost a must if you have old tractors, thanks to the people that run it. ED

Ed: A lot of them have gone to the Red Power forum. Much the same type of forum, slow to acess I find. They supposedly have enhanced security. Really Kim has achived the same thing here with the disclosure, and she didn't loose on the speed.

The Red Power forum tends also to deal a lot with newer items, you see a lot of CaseIH products discussed there. Fair bit of discussion on trucks also. It tends also to be a bit more of a social club, whereas here at YT problem solving of old iron is still number one. Kind of depends on what suits your fancy. They both have their good points.

I guess I don't understand why anyone would leave this forum for the red power forum. This one is easier to use and usually has better topics of discussion. I stopped reading the red power forum when they went to the new one. It used to be a beter forum before they changed it.

Hey Farmall Ed, I’m been here, just checking in now and then. It’s been a busy summer with haying and working in town too. Now fall is here and trying to get everything ready for the snow (bad word) and helping my neighbor with his fall work.

In my opinion,Farmer Ed, many former posters have seen the same questions (and the same answers) over and over so many times they have opted out of the discussion. Others have walked away because of arguments that have been carried on here. and some probably died! my nickel Dick Davis
