Stearing info. info on how to take stearing box off. it looks if you have to remove the front end. any suggestons. Thanks Bill

Yes you have to remove the front end. I have found the eaiest way is to loosen the left side at the adjustable tread section. Pull that side right out, then remove the pivot pin on front end. The U bolt that goes ubder axle is hard to remove without removing rad. By taking the front end in two pieces you make it easier to handle, and you eliminate the need for removing the U bolt. Chalk your rear wheels securely and place a jack under flat point on clutch housing. You then can remove bottom half of steering box. If it is looseness of steering check the woodruf keys on steering arm shaft. Bearings in steering wheel shaft if bad will give end play to the shaft.
