Super M - hydraulic lever position?

On a Super M with live hydraulics, what position should the lever be in?

Not sure if it matters but my plumbing goes from pump to a 2 spool valve. From valve to resevoir.

Also, the spool for the loader is a 4 way (2 way hydraulics), loader cylinders are one way hyd. So one of the hoses on that spool goes to one of the connections by your left foot. Is that alright?

thanks.

Does this tractor have the reservoir under the rear of the gas tank with lift all lever on the right side? If so to operate 2 way valve the lefer should be in the locked foreward position. The 2 fittings on the left side are pressure ports when using the lift all.

Yes, the reservoir is under the gas tank. There is a lever on right side of the resevoir. It has a lock to lock it back, but not forward. 3 ports are by the left foot of the driver.

You got it! That lever on the reservoir (the "Lift All" lever) must be latched to the BACK for the remote 4 way valve to work.

Hey Dan - you're in good company on that one! I only remember the lever must be latched back when the remote cylinder I mine would not work as I was hooking a plow a couple weeks ago. After a couple frantic moments I figured out the Liftall lever (which has no pull rod attached) had gotten kicked into it's center position by someone's big foot. Latching it back got the remote working again.
